The first big wedding I ever shot solo was at Hedingham Castle quite a few years ago, so today’s wedding brought back a lot of fond memories. Back then I was like a baby deer in headlights, now I’m wiser (and older…) I can actually relax and enjoy photographing the day!
Caroline and her Bridesmaids got ready in the ‘new’ (it’s probably not that new, but it is for me haha) Garden Cottage in the Hedingham Estate and made good use of Hedingham’s own 1956 Rolls Royce – The Silver Cloud to get to the castle for the ceremony.
Brian and his two best men LOVE cars so Hedingham very kindly popped the lid on the Rolls so we could get that shot – they must have thought we were mad!
After the ceremony in the castle we headed to the Mansion House and gardens for drinks reception and more pictures. The wedding breakfast, followed by speeches and evening reception was in the marquee just off of the house. Hedingham were so lovely they even saved me a gorgeous chocolate dessert – I’m happy! :D
